STRO acquired the former 215,000 SF manufacturing facility in 2018, entering into a contract contingent on multiple approvals, including a rezoning from Central Business District to Industrial Warehouse/Distribution and a comprehensive environmental remediation plan.
Upon receiving final zoning and environmental clearances, STRO closed on the property in March 2021 and immediately commenced demolition and new construction. The team delivered a modern 205,000 SF Class A distribution facility in May 2022. The project was fully pre-leased to Amazon before construction started.
1150 McBride now serves as one of the only two Amazon Sub-Same Day Delivery Centers in New Jersey, demonstrating STRO’s ability to reposition complex, legacy industrial sites into high-demand, institutional-grade logistics facilities.
