Steven Millstein is the Founder, Principal, and President of The STRO Companies (“STRO”), bringing more than three decades of leadership in real estate investment, operations, and value creation. He established STRO in 1994 with a strategic mandate to acquire and reposition under-performing industrial assets while building a full-service platform to enhance its capacity for the Millstein Family Office’s (MFO) growing portfolio.

Throughout his career, Millstein has demonstrated a consistent ability to navigate complex economic cycles and capitalize on structural market shifts, growing STRO from an emerging operator into a leading owner of small bay infill industrial properties in Northern New Jersey and Florida. His disciplined investment thesis—centered on last-mile locations, mission-critical tenant demand, and precise basis management—enabled STRO to scale significantly during both the Great Financial Crisis and the rise of e-commerce, resulting in a portfolio exceeding 4 million square feet valued at more than $1 billion.

As the architect of STRO’s strategy and culture, Millstein has built a high-performance organization aligned with MFO’s long-term vision. He continues to drive portfolio expansion, operational excellence, and a client-focused approach that treats every asset with an owner’s mindset.
